 WATCH:  Nothing is Ever Private

It’s tempting to think that no one will ever find out, but the truth is that things don’t stay private online. Forty to sixty percent of 16-18 year olds participate in sexual activity online. They have no idea who could be watching.

1. How do you get attention online? (Think Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Face Time, etc.)
2. Have you ever used sexual words, pictures or images to get attention online? Did it bring good or bad attention?
3. Have you or someone you know ever had a bad experience with online sexual activity?
4. What makes you feel accepted? Does your online activity make you feel accepted? How so?
5. Does attention from people (or even strangers) online equal acceptance? Why or why not?
6. Is there a right or wrong way to get attention and acceptance?
7. Why do you think we crave acceptance?
8. Being provocative online is a temporary fix to a great need to be adored. What would it mean to you to be adored? More thoughts...
9. Did you know that God loves you more than anyone else ever could? How does that make you feel? More thoughts...
"I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." Jeremiah 29:11 "I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us." Romans 8:39
10. Do you want to feel the love and acceptance of God? Please pray for me about ______.
