university life | who am I? | my spirituality

    University Life:

    >During the university years, we make crucial decisions that affect the rest of our lives. Don’t build your life on something that will crumble in 30 years. Go for the truth, as it is the rock that does not change.

    Who Am I?:

    >If I could describe my life as a show or movie, it would be a scene in Les Miserables, where the hero Jean Val Jean and the stringent Javert struggle over the destitute Fontine. Javert who represents the law fights hard to keep grace from getting her custody. But he loses.

    >I had an abusive dad. The hardest thing I’ve ever done was to leave home at the age of 15.

    >What I’m most proud of: the beautiful pictures that I am able to capture with my camera.

    >My room has my Grandma’s quilts on my bed, my best pictures bordering my ceiling and down the corners, my desk and dresser I made in grade 10 and 11, one of my small libraries in a book case beside my bed with vibrant violets on top. Battenburg lace curtains, bed skirt and book case top. And a pile of paperwork on my desk that never diminishes.

    >I’d hate to be without: my deep sleep buried under my heavy quilts my grandmother made for me.

    >I enjoy lounging with a computer game or movie, shooting off some film on my camera, learning how to rollerblade, and volleyball.

    >Food I would consider dying for? No food is worth dying for. Few things are.
